Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of InsideEdge (the "Service"), operated by InsideEdge as an individual sole trader based in the United Kingdom. By using the Service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service.
2. What InsideEdge is — and is not
InsideEdge is an information and research tool. It surfaces insider and institutional activity from public SEC filings, along with context such as float, short interest, and price data, to help you decide what to look into.
InsideEdge is not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, or financial adviser, and nothing on the Service is investment, financial, legal, or tax advice or a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security. All decisions you make are your own. You are solely responsible for your trading and investment decisions and their outcomes.
3. Data sources & accuracy
Filings shown on the Service are reproduced from public records — the SEC's EDGAR system and, for congressional trades, the Clerk of the US House of Representatives. We parse those records automatically and present them substantially as filed. Errors, omissions and amendments in the source records will appear here too, and our own parsing can add mistakes of its own. Always check the original filing before acting on anything.
Market data — prices, charts, market capitalisation, float, short interest and similar — is provided by third parties for informational display only. It may be delayed, incomplete or inaccurate, it is not a real-time market feed, and it is not to be redistributed.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” with no warranty of accuracy, timeliness, or fitness for any purpose, and may be unavailable from time to time. Where any figure is derived, modelled or historic, it is hypothetical, does not represent actual trading, and past performance is not indicative of future results.
4. AI-generated summaries
Some text on the Service — the brief on a candidate, the weekly recap, the network read — is written by a language model from facts we compute from the filings. It can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. Treat it as a starting point for your own reading of the filing, never as a conclusion, and never as advice.
5. Accounts
You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use. Authentication is provided by Clerk.
6. Subscriptions, billing & cancellation
- The Free tier is available at no cost. The Pro plan is US$29 per month, billed monthly in advance via Stripe. If your card is issued in another currency, your bank converts at its own rate.
- Pro renews automatically each month until cancelled. There is no free trial.
- You can cancel at any time from Settings → Manage billing, which opens Stripe's billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep Pro until that period ends. We do not cancel you mid-period.
- If a renewal payment fails — an expired or declined card, for example — Pro access pauses as soon as Stripe reports the payment as unsuccessful. Nothing is deleted: your watchlist, follows and settings stay exactly as they were, and access is restored automatically as soon as the payment goes through. Stripe will retry and email you; you can also update your card in the billing portal at any time.
- Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable for partial periods. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.
- We may change pricing with reasonable notice; changes apply to subsequent billing periods.
- Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription — cancel first, then delete, or email us and we will do both. See the Privacy Policy.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- scrape, resell, or redistribute the Service or its data in bulk;
- attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorised access to the Service;
- use the Service unlawfully or to infringe others' rights.
8. Intellectual property
The Service, including its design, code, and branding, belongs to InsideEdge and its licensors. Underlying public filing data remains the property of its respective sources. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your own personal, non-commercial use.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, InsideEdge is not liable for any trading or investment losses, or for any indirect or consequential loss, arising from your use of the Service or reliance on its information. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law (such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).
10. Suspension & termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or to protect the Service. You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
12. Changes & contact
We may update these terms; the effective date above reflects the latest version. Continued use after a change means you accept it. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle data. Questions: support@insideedge.io.
