Cookie Policy
This page lists every cookie and every piece of browser storage InsideEdge uses, by name. There are not many: we store what is needed to keep you signed in and to remember how you like the app set up, and nothing that follows you around the web.

Clerk may set a small number of additional cookies for sign-in security and bot protection; they are all strictly necessary for authentication and are described in Clerk's own documentation.
Card payments happen on Stripe's own hosted checkout page. Any cookies Stripe sets there are set on Stripe's domain, under Stripe's policy, not ours.
Browser storage
These are stored by your browser on your device and are never sent to our servers as cookies. Clearing your site data removes them.

Error monitoring & session replay
We use Sentry to find and fix errors. Sentry does not set advertising cookies and does not track you across other sites. It keeps a session identifier in your browser's session storage — which your browser discards when you close the tab — and records a replay of the page for about one in ten sessions, and for sessions where an error happens. Text and form inputs are masked by Sentry's default privacy settings.
We rely on our legitimate interest in keeping the service working for this. You can object to it at support@insideedge.io, and it is covered in more detail in our Privacy Policy.
What we don't use
- No advertising cookies and no marketing pixels.
- No cross-site or third-party tracking.
- No web analytics product — we run neither Vercel Analytics nor Speed Insights, and neither Google Analytics nor any equivalent.
- No selling or sharing of any of this with data brokers.
Why there is no cookie banner
UK and EU rules require consent for cookies that are not strictly necessary, and an exemption for those that are. The only cookies we set are your sign-in session — strictly necessary — and two preferences you chose yourself by using the controls in the app. Because we run no analytics or advertising cookies, there is nothing here to consent to, so we do not interrupt you with a banner.
Controlling cookies & storage
You can block or delete cookies and clear site data in your browser settings, and you can change your currency, view density and theme in Settings at any time. Blocking the sign-in cookies will stop accounts from working; clearing site data will reset your preferences and, if you are signed out, your local watchlist.
